Make Sure Your Site Is Safe With Site Equip

Ensuring your construction site is safe from the word go is of utmost importance. It’s vital to stay within the guidelines put in place to create a low risk environment for workers on site.

Your site should be equipped with the required safety tools, including clear signage. We have a variety of different safety signs available that meet Health and Safety regulations.

Working at height has its risks, especially with use of ladders. To secure the ladder and prevent tampering or illegal access to areas at height lockable ladder guards are recommended.

Should a worker fall from a height, you should have the correct precautions in place to reduce injury. Site Equip’s Soft fall arrest landing system can reduce risk of injury from falls from up to 2 meters. It is also important to undertake training on how to use certain safety equipment, to ensure it is being used properly and effectively.

HSE guidelines state that ‘Everyone who works on any site must have access to adequate toilet and washing facilities, a place for preparing and consuming refreshments and somewhere for storing and drying clothing and personal protective equipment.’
